HELLO, I'M MELISSA
I am the one-woman team behind Melissa Zgouridi Studios. Originally from Southern California, I have called Salzburg, Austria home since 2015. I am a classically trained singer, and a self-taught photographer and designer. My journey into visual art started in 2011, when I picked up my first DSLR and could never seem to put it down again. Prior to moving to Europe, I ran a photography business in the USA from 2011 to 2015, focusing specifically on portrait and headshot photography for musicians & artists. I discovered my passion for design and website building in 2017 when a friend asked me to help her build her website. One website became a couple, which then turned into a new creative adventure. I founded Melissa Zgouridi Studios in 2018 to assist artists in creating unique and professional portfolios that
showcase them and their work at their very best.
I believe in the importance of authenticity, storytelling, and collaboration. These principals have been the guiding forces behind all of my artistic endeavors, whether performing on a stage, looking through a camera lens, or clicking away on a computer. I view my work as a collaboration between my clients and myself. I work closely with every client to get to know them on a personal level and ensure their ideas and stories are incorporated into our projects. My goal is to create something with you that is not only professional but makes you feel excited and confident about sharing your art with the world.
